Software upgrades for May 19th, 2010
Software has been released for the following cell phones and cell phone related vendors, as of May 19th, 2010. Remember to back up your information prior to doing any cell phone software upgrade.
1) HTC has announced a software upgrade to Android 2.1 for the HTC Hero for Sprint. Details can be found at the HTC website, and Sprint.com
2) T-Mobile has announced an update for their BlackBerry Smartphone 9700 (the Bold 2). The upgrade is available through the T-Mobile website.
3) Apple has announced the release of their SDK (Software Development Kit) for iPhone firmware 4.0. Those who already have access to the SDK will not have to pay additional money to get the new 4.0 firmware SDK.
4) The HTC HD2 Windows Mobile phone for T-Mobile also has a cell phone software upgrade available. Details at both the HTC website as well as the T-Mobile website.
