Final date for iPhone MMS
The date has been announced when your iPhone will be able to do the most mundane of things: send a multimedia message. This long awaited feature was rumored to be part of the iPhone 3.0 update and was going to be made available toward the end of summer, 2009.
In true carrier fashion, AT&T has announced that they're making that promise happen a little later than they thought, and on September 25, 2009, the iPhone will finally be able to do MMS. On that day, simply connect your phone to iTunes for the latest update, and voila! send that picture off
Oddly enough, no one knows WHY it can't be done, only that it's taken them until now to get it working - the only thing we've heard about is "We want to be ready to handle the volume the iPhone users are bound to create" Curious. Now, about that tethering thing you've been telling us about...
