Hit the freckle button (also known as the menu key) and then select Register Now.
After registration, you'll get the icon back, and it might be wise to do a hard reboot. If it doesn't come on in about 15 to 20 minutes, give the carrier a call; they're likely to have to do some fixing on their end.
