BlackBerry Storm Update Launched by Verizon

BlackBerry and Verizon Wireless announced a new update to the BlackBerry Storm this weekend, available over the air at 10PM PST. It's been a bit since the last update, so hopefully it'll go a long way to curing most of the battery life issues, as well as some speed issues many BlackBerry 9530 owners have been groaning about since the last update.

The BlackBerry Storm by Research in Motion is a smartphone powered by the Blackberry Operating System. This touch screen phone is a great compliment for someone who is looking for a best in class push email experience, access to thousands of applications, and great GPS features. Retail with a two year agreement runs about $199, and requires a $29.99 data plan, or in the event you require enterprise class email access, $44.99 data plan.
