MobileMakeover.com is a T-Mobile run site that directs you to Billshrink.com, a supposed third party site that asserts that 8 out of 10 cellular phone customers are on the wrong rate plan. How accurate is that claim, and since T-Mobile claims that most results wind up with their network being the first choice, is it really impartial?

The fact that the link they use to connect you to the BillShrink website looks like this: http://www.billshrink.com/partners/tmobile?utm_campaign=tmobile-pilot&utm_medium=banner&utm_source=tmobile.com&utm_content=tmo_value_lp suggests that BillShrink makes money from T-Mobile referrals - not suspicious at all.

In any event, we don't suggest using the 'Import your bill' feature of the website as it requires that you use your account phone number and password, which is a possible privacy issue. BBB certified or not, it just makes us nervous.
