Sprint Palm Pixi
Palm has just announced its Palm Pixi handset officially, after several suggestions of a delay that could last until 2010.
The Palm Pixie features a 2.63-inch capacitive display with a 320 x 400 pixel resolution as well as a full QWERTY keyboard. 2MP camera and 8GB onboard storage also packed to the Pixi. Of course you can expect Pixi to run on WebOS. For connectivity, there’s only EVDO Rev.A support available, no 4G or WiFi, which means you can't take a phone call and hold a data session at the same time.
What network? CDMA for Sprint and Verizon, although Sprint is getting first dibs, much like it did with the Palm Centro. Suspected price after mail in rebate is $99, bring Palm's WebOS closer to affordable, half the price of the first WebOS phone, the Palm Pre.
Just in time for the holidays, and announced just before things heat up for Christmas. If you want more information, Sprint and Palm are offering a website here.

Will the Palm Pixie have voice dialing?
This is a biggie with me, who needs hands-free dialing when in car.
In my mind, just as handsfree legislation in most states requires use of a headset, it should also require Bluetooth handsfree dialing.
There should be another push coming on Thursday, September 25, 2009 that will update the applications to include this latest voice dialing with Bluetooth.
It's about time Palm gets its act together on this feature!
I like palm phones with Palm Desktop organizer, VERY EASY to use!
I'm looking forward to buying a Pixi with Voice activated dialing with Bluetooth..
